Whittinghill Outdoor & Hauling is more than a business—it’s a family-owned and veteran-owned company built on hard work, service, reliability, and the values passed down through generations. Neal and Marketa have been together for 20 years and are raising their daughter, twin boys, and three miniature schnauzers. We love spending time together as a family, enjoying the outdoors, and making the most of the place we call home. Those same values are at the heart of the way we serve our customers.
Roots That Run Deep
Our roots run deep across both Illinois and Missouri. Marketa’s family has a long history of farming in Illinois, while her maternal grandmother and her family were born and raised in Missouri. Neal’s family also has longstanding Missouri roots, with his grandmother and her family continuing to own acreage in Missouri today. Although Neal and Marketa made Missouri their home in 2022, the connection to this state reaches back generations through both sides of their family.
That family history is rooted in hard work, entrepreneurship, service, and taking pride in what you build. Marketa’s father and grandfather were farmers who understood the value of working the land, while her family also built successful businesses, including an International Harvester and Oldsmobile dealership.
Her family’s history also includes service in the Army and a career in real estate. As a veteran herself, Marketa is proud to carry forward that tradition of dedication, service, and commitment to others.
Neal’s family brings a strong legacy of its own. His father and grandfather built and operated waste management businesses in both Illinois and Oklahoma. Their experience created a family tradition centered around hard work, reliability, and serving the communities around them—values Neal brings to every job today.

Neal is the dedicated operator in the field—the one who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty, tackle the tough jobs, and put in the work to get things done right. Together, we bring different strengths to the business, but we share the same commitment to doing honest work and treating people right.
